Free Business Checking:

If your business has limited transactions of 175 items per month, this account may be for you. No minimum requirement, this non-interest bearing checking account can take care of your basic business checking needs.

Small Business Checking:

If your business has limited transactions of less than 350 items per month, this account may fit your needs. A low opening and minimum balance makes this account easy to take care of your business needs.

Small Business Interest Checking:

For sole proprietorship or eligible non-profit organizations, you may take advantage of our Small Business Interest Checking account. With a required minimum balance and up to 350 items per statement cycle, you can earn interest on your Small Business account.
NOTE: Federal regulations prohibits banks from offering interest bearing checking to “for profit” partnerships, corporations and professional associations.

Commercial Checking Account:

As your business grows, your balances and your transactions grow as well. You should now consider taking advantage of using balances to offset a variety of fees. Commercial analysis will allow you to do this. For an added benefit, a sweep feature will enable you to earn interest on excess cash balances. You can get the advantage of unlimited checking and reduce account costs.

Commercial Money Market Account:

This account earns money market rates and provides cash flow flexibility. Enjoy tiered rates based on the balance you keep. The higher the balance, the higher the rate of return you get. With a $1,000 minimum balance and 6 withdrawals per statement cycle, there is no monthly service charge.

IOLTA:

This account is for lawyers and law firms only. With this account we participate in the IOLTA program set up by the North Carolina State Bar. Small or short-term funds are invested in an interest-bearing account. Interest earned on this account, less a low monthly service charge, is forwarded to the North Carolina State Bar for use in public projects. No minimum balance is required.

Business Savings:

This is a low-risk savings plan for our commercial customers. This account is interest-bearing and allows up to 3 withdrawals per statement cycle and maintain a low minimum collected balance to avoid a monthly service charge.

Certificates of Deposits:

We offer a certificate of deposit that will ensure a competitive interest rate with the cash flow that you desire. Whether you prefer a long-term or short-term CD, First Carolina State Bank has the right option for you.

PC Banking

Bank without leaving your office. Use your personal computer to review account balances, verify checks and deposits, transfer funds between accounts, wire funds and initiate ACH transactions.
