First Carolina State Bank Welcomes William Edgar as Commercial Loan Officer
ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. - (October 2006) - Tim Taylor, president/CEO of First Carolina State Bank, is pleased to announce that William D. Edgar Jr. has joined the bank as Commercial Loan Officer. In this position, Edgar works with small and mid-size businesses to deliver the products that meet their financial needs.
Edgar is a five-year Rocky Mount banker. He began his career as a branch manager and banking officer in 2001. Two years later, he was promoted to commercial loan officer.
Earlier this year, Edgar graduated from East Carolina University with a master's degree in business administration. He earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2001.
Edgar is a member of the Nash-Rocky Mount Rotary Club where he has been treasurer since joining the club in 2004.
