First Carolina State Bank Welcomes Simmons as Retail Banking Manager
ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. - (Dec. 4, 2006) -- Timothy Taylor, President/CEO of First Carolina State Bank, is pleased to announce that longtime banker Beverley Riley Simmons has joined the bank as Vice President and Retail Banking Manager. In this position, Simmons oversees all retail and consumer banking at First Carolina State Bank's full service offices in Rocky Mount and Tarboro.
Simmons has more than 18 years of banking experience in Rocky Mount. Most recently, she managed the Oakwood Office for RBC Centura Bank.
A graduate of North Carolina Central University, Simmons has a bachelor's degree in business administration. She has served as a mentor with Communities in Schools for 15 years and is a member of St. Mark AME Church.
First Carolina State Bank is a locally founded and locally managed community bank that opened in Rocky Mount in 2000 to serve the residents of Nash and Edgecombe Counties.
